I saw a discussion about it on the Wentzville 411 Facebook page and I saw a post by some official and I think that one was on the New Wentzvillian for St Charles Countians Facebook page. 

I found the ordinance. It's not replacing the siding on the whole house to match. The use the term plane. " A color match to the existing siding or shingles must be executed or replacement of

the entire plane is required in order to maintain the intent of the code".   So the question is what do they mean by plane. Is it by wall section or what you can see by elevation where there might be different sections close to each other.
